Chef Nancy Silverton is pleased to invite United MileagePlus cardmembers to this special truffle dinner at her Los Angeles Michelin-starred restaurant, Osteria Mozza.
The centerpiece of Osteria Mozza is a white Carrara marble Mozzarella Bar where guests will begin their evening and cocktail reception enjoying hors d’oeuvres and fresh mozzarella, ricotta and cream-filled burrata.
Following the reception, guests will be seated for a winter inspired four-course wine paired dinner with menu created by Chef Silverton. Truffles will serve as a featured item throughout the meal including signature and specially curated dishes.
Billy Harris of “Hanging with Harris” will join Chef Silverton for this private dinner and host a live auction to benefit the Trotter Project. Auction items will include a Williams Sonoma Thermo-Clad™ Stainless-Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set, and a special surprise from Chef Nancy Silverton.
Chef Nancy Silverton is the co-owner of Pizzeria Mozza in Los Angeles and Newport Beach as well as Osteria Mozza, Mozza2Go and chi SPACCA in Los Angeles. She also founded the world-renowned La Brea Bakery as well as Campanile Restaurant, an institution that Angelenos cherished for decades.
Early in her career, Nancy Silverton was named Food and Wine Magazine’s “Best New Chef.” In 2014, she received the highest honor given by the James Beard Foundation for “Outstanding Chef.” That year, she was listed as one of the Most Innovative Women in Food and Drink by both Fortune and Food and Wine Magazines. In 2017, Nancy was profiled on Netflix’s documentary series “Chef’s Table.” Chef Silverton is also the author of eight cookbooks.
The Trotter Project develops young talent interested in culinary arts through its Pillars of Excellence Mentor Program, which is designed to educate, engage, and inspire passion. The charity’s scholarships, paid internships, farm to classroom initiatives, and educational programs are all designed to propel careers and build a sense of community. Chef Charlie Trotter’s spirit of mentorship and giving back to the community lives on through The Trotter Project organization established based on his guiding principles of excellence.
