A Round of Golf at Wilshire Country Club, Los Angeles

This special Inside Access from Chase experience will give you access to a course that has hosted some outstanding golf competitions including the Los Angeles Open, the Senior PGA Tour and the LPGA Tour.

Following the welcome brunch, get tips for improving your game with three simultaneous small group skill-building sessions with Wilshire Country Club Teaching Professionals. Each professional will offer tips for improving your game with putter, irons and driver. After the sessions, you will tee-off and play Wilshire Country Club surrounded by many notable landmarks including the Hollywood Sign, the Griffith Park Observatory and former Wilshire member Howard Hughes’s mansion, which borders the golf course on the south.

Founded in 1919 and set in historic Hancock Park, Wilshire Country Club enjoys a reputation as one of the finest country clubs in all of Southern California. Wilshire’s architect, Norman Macbeth, was a Scotsman who was influenced largely by Alister MacKenzie.

Wilshire sits on 100 acres and its most prominent feature is the barranca that meanders throughout the golf course and comes into play on 13 holes. Although it is not considered a long course, it presents many challenges, including fantastic bunkering and greens complexes that have a reputation of being the fastest in all of Southern California.
