Chef Kevin Naderi was born and raised in Houston and has planted his culinary roots in the Bayou City with great acclaim. He opened Roost at the young age of twenty-five, and just two years later landed the nomination of Food & Wine's Best New Chef Southwest of 2013.
Most recently, Chef Naderi was featured on Food Network’s "Beat Bobby Flay" in an episode titled “Stop, Drop and Roll,” where the judges overwhelmingly selected his sous vide, slow cooked cabbage leaves with lamb and pistachio stuffing over Flay’s traditional Polish-style cabbage rolls, crowning Chef Naderi the winner.
Your private evening at Roost will begin with a casual reception where you will have an opportunity to explore the flavors of fall with a selection of passed items and small shared plates. A four-course specially-curated dinner will follow, highlighting seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and including his winning recipe from "Beat Bobby Flay!"
Located in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston, Roost offers a warmly intimate dining space and features a menu inspired by flavors from the South, Asia and Middle East. Chef Naderi has continued to be recognized for his culinary prowess as a four-time winner of the Houston Press Iron Fork competition. He also appeared on a season 2 episode of “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
