A NY Tribute Dinner Celebrating Chef Roger Vergé!

Join Inside Access from Chase for this elegant tribute evening in New York City where Chef Roger Vergé, who passed away in 2015, will be honored by a remarkable team of celebrity chefs for his significant contributions to the culinary world.

You will be among 250 invited guests and media to attend this very special event. Participating chefs include Chef Chair for the evening Daniel Boulud, Chefs Philippe Bertineau, David Bouley, Terrance Brennan, Cat Cora, Georgette Farkas, Dean Fearing, Remy Funfrock, Wilfrid Hocquet, Emeril Lagasse, Francis Mallmann, George Mendes, Richard Reddington, Mark Tarbell, Michael White, and chefs from The Culinary Institute of America who all enjoyed the privilege of working with Chef Vergé.

Your Inside Access from Chase experience will begin with private early access to the walk-around tasting and cocktail reception 30-minutes prior to the doors opening to the public. Chef Daniel Boulud, who cooked alongside Chef Roger Vergé at his famous restaurant in France, Le Moulin de Mougins, will offer welcome remarks and take a photo with each party. Then you will be free to walk around and enjoy culinary specialties from over ten chefs who were also influenced by Chef Roger Vergé.

Following the reception, guests will be seated at tables, each hosted by one of the prominent chefs who spent time in Chef Vergé’s kitchen, for a specially-curated three-course dinner paired with French wines. The dinner will feature dishes inspired by Chef Vergé’s “cuisine du soleil” (cuisine of the sun) and will be prepared under the direction of one of the celebrated participating chefs.

A portion of the proceeds from this historic event will go towards a newly created scholarship in the name of Roger Vergé for students at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
