As Chef and owner of two of San Francisco’s most critically acclaimed restaurants, Cotogna and Quince, Chef Michael Tusk’s approach to Italian and French regional cuisine is refined and modern, sourcing inspiration from the seasonal bounty of Northern California and his close relationships with local purveyors.
Chef Michael Tusk will host this private Inside Access from Chase evening beginning with a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception in the salon of Quince. During the reception, guests will be invited into the Quince wine cellar to view the beautifully curated collection of fine wines from around the world and hear about the wine pairings being offered for dinner. Following the reception, Chef Tusk will present a five-course seasonal menu with other special inclusions.
Quince opened in 2003 in what was formally a 19th century apothecary shop. Quince has since moved to a historic 1907 brick and timber building in San Francisco’s Jackson Square. Chef’s wife, Lindsay Tusk, has continued to refine the already elegant interior of Quince, making it one of the most beautiful and dramatic spaces in the city. Quince has been recognized the world over including the Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 Wine Restaurants in the World, four stars by the San Francisco Chronicle and two stars from The Michelin Guide. Most recently, Chef Tusk was nominated for the James Beard Award Foundation’s Outstanding Chef 2016.
