Recently named Best Chef Mid-Atlantic by the James Beard Foundation, Chef Jeremiah Langhorne celebrates his regional roots at The Dabney. He creates modern American food with strong regional and historic influences, while incorporating his interests in farming, charcuterie and foraging.
Chef Langhorne will host this private Inside Access from Chase evening and specially curate a summer inspired menu. Guests will begin with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception featuring creative seasonal libations and then be seated for a four-course wine paired dinner including individually plated and family style dishes. Wine selections will be curated by co-owner and Beverage Director, Alex Zink.
Throughout the evening guests will also have an opportunity to watch through the open kitchen centered around a wood-burning hearth, as Chef Langhorne and The Dabney team prepare the evening’s menu. Chef Langhorne will also visit with guests and share his culinary journey.
Located in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Chef Jeremiah Langhorne and Alex Zink opened The Dabney in the fall of 2015 and continue to be highly acclaimed. The Dabney was recognized with a Michelin Star in Washington D.C.’s Michelin Guide for 2016 and 2017 as well as by Bon Appétit magazine’s 50 Best New Restaurants of 2016 and was named one of Food & Wine magazine’s 2016 Restaurants of the Year.
