Located in the Heights, Coltivare Pizza and Garden was named one of Texas Monthly's 10 Best New Restaurants in the state in 2015.
Guests will begin this special Inside Access from Chase evening with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception outdoors in Coltivare’s 3,000 square foot fruit and vegetable garden.
Following the reception, guests will be seated in the wood-clad dining room for a five-course specially-curated menu. Known for his thoughtful approach to cooking and his strong dedication to sustainable practices, Chef Pera will take inspiration from his garden for the evening’s seasonal menu. The menu will feature his signature modern Italian fare with locally sourced meats, seafood, pasta, and his not to be missed wood-fired pizzas. Each course will be paired with wines.
Guests will also have an opportunity to watch through the open kitchen as Chef Pera and the Coltivare team prepare the evening’s menu. Chef Pera will visit with guests and share his culinary journey and inspirations, and be available for photos.
In 2014, Chef Ryan Pera and co-owner Morgan Weber opened Coltivare, a restaurant and garden inspired by Ryan's Italian heritage and featuring Gulf Coast ingredients. Shortly after opening, Coltivare was included on Bon Appetit's list of the 50 Best New Restaurants in America in 2014.
Among his other accolades, in 2015 Chef Ryan Pera was named Food & Wine magazine's People's Best New Chef for the Southwest region as well as Chef of the Year at the Houston Culinary Awards.
