Your private evening at DANIEL will begin with a reception in the elegant Bar & Lounge where you will be treated to passed hors d'oeuvres, along with special wine and hand-crafted cocktail selections. DANIEL's distinctive elegance boasts contemporary furnishings and finishes atop the restaurant's grand neo classical architecture.
Following the reception, Chef Daniel will host a private five-course dinner in the Bellecour dining room. The Bellecour Room was named for the historic town square in the heart of Chef Daniel's hometown and features a wall of windows facing East 65th Street. During the evening, you will also have the unique opportunity to visit the DANIEL kitchen, take photos with Chef Daniel and hear first-hand about his experiences and inspirations.
Raised on his family's farm in the village of St Pierre de Chandieu, chef, restaurateur and author, Daniel Boulud remains inspired by the rhythm of the seasons and menus driven by fine seasonal ingredients. Since arriving in the US in 1982, Boulud has become renowned for the contemporary appeal he adds to soulful cooking rooted in French tradition. His many culinary accolades include James Beard Foundation awards for "Outstanding Restaurant," "Outstanding Restaurateur," "Best Chef, New York City" and "Outstanding Chef of the Year."
The flavors of DANIEL will follow guests home with each receiving a pre-signed copy of his newly released book, Daniel: My French Cuisine.
