Enjoy a "grain to glass" evening with hand crafted award winning spirits and an exceptionally curated family-style dinner at The Kitchen Denver. This private evening created for Inside Access from Chase will be hosted by co-owner Hugo Matheson and Executive Chef Kyle Mendenhall.
Known for his philosophy of creating simple and local food, Hugo has culled a network of farmers, purveyors and professionals who have been instrumental in making The Kitchen a world-class community bistro.
Expanding the restaurant’s farm-to-table concept to mixology, for the first time at The Kitchen, Lance Hanson, owner, farmer and distiller of Peak Spirits Farm Distillery, makers of CapRock, will take guests through the life cycle of a spirit - from the soil and harvest, to distillation and bottling. During a mixology demonstration, guests will have an opportunity to touch, smell, and taste the locally farmed botanicals used in the spirits, including lavender, juniper, rose hip, and fruits.
Your exclusive experience takes place in the Wine Room and begins with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a four-course summer-inspired dinner expertly paired with Colorado’s award winning CapRock vodka, gin and other specialty infused drinks. In keeping with the philosophy that gathering around the table and sharing good food and drink is what connects us as family, friends and community – this special dinner will be served family style.
At the end of the evening, guests will take home select dinner and drink recipes created for the event.
