Join award-winning Chefs Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski for a special Inside Access private evening at their new restaurant, The Progress. You will be treated to an hors d'oeuvres reception with a selection of wines and cocktails followed by a modern and inventive meal and photos with the chefs.
At The Progress, which opened just prior to the new year, the energy of the room is boundless and dishes are served in waves of two or three items at a time. As expected from Chef Brioza's body of work, the menu is inspired by cultural influences with plates such as black cod fried rice and "Don Watson's" lamb scallopini. To experience the full flavors of this new arrival to the culinary scene, Chefs Stuart, Nicole and The Progress team will prepare a broad selection of menu items for Inside Access guests.
This dynamic Chef-Owner duo met in art school, then turned their attention to food and never looked back. Their long-term collaboration also includes time leading the kitchens at Rubicon and Michigan's Tapawingo. They have received numerous recognitions and accolades including: Bon Appetit Magazine's Best New Restaurant of 2012, James Beard Award: Best New Restaurant 2013, and one Michelin Star in 2014 and 2015 for their first restaurant, State Bird Provisions.
During a casual question and answer session guests will have the opportunity to hear first-hand from Chefs Stuart and Nicole as they share their story and elaborate on inspirations for their work and newest endeavor.
